Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is in each parent's prior marriages. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and took part in plays. In her 16th year she left school to pursue a profession as an actress full time. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her goals were realized when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
