Taylor Alison Swift, born 13 December 1989, is an American musician and singer. Her discography spans many genres. She experimented with rock and electronic styles in Red (2012) the album that included her first Billboard Hot 100 number-one song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and she eschews her country image in her synth-pop album, 1989 (2014), supported by chart-topping songs "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", and "Bad Blood". Reputation is a hip-hop album with the number-one song "Look at What You Made Me Do", was inspired by media scrutiny. Exiting Big Machine, Swift signed with Republic Records in 2018 and released her seventh studio album, Lover (2019), followed by the autobiographical film Miss Americana (2020). With her 2020 albums Folklore and Evermore, Swift ventured into indie and alternative folk. The singles "Cardigan", and "Willow" were atop the Hot 100. Swift started re-recording six of her albums after a dispute over their masters. In 2021, Swift released two albums: Fearless (Taylor’s) and Red. "All Too Well (10 minute version)" was the longest song to reach the top of the Hot 100. The album she released in 2022, Midnights along with its single "Anti-Hero", set all-time streaming music records. Swift has also directed music films and videos like All Too Well, The Short Film (2021) and performed in supporting roles. Having sold over 200 million albums worldwide, Swift is one of the most successful musicians of all time. Swift is the most streamed female in Spotify. She's also the only artist with five albums that sold over a million copies in the US. 12 Grammy Awards including three Album of the Year nominations; an Emmy Award, 40 American Music Awards; 29 Billboard Music Awards. 92 Guinness World Records are just among her numerous accolades. Swift has been featured in lists such as Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time, Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists, the Time 100 and Forbes Celebrity 100.
